Laminates for recycling are films consisting of polyethylene fibers glued together. These laminates can be recycled effectively since they are constructed of polyethylene material.
Laminates that are recyclable are typically mono-laminates and contain one or two layers of polyethylene. By comparison to other multilayer laminates that use multiple polymers with varying grades, recyclable laminates utilize a common substance with no recyclable additional additives. Any layers may be raised to have longer lengths or stronger barrier properties, based on requirements.
